HoOp Dance refers to artistic movement with a hoop (or hoops) used as a prop or dance partner. It is a complete workout for the mind and body. Hoop Dance promotes play and childlike, spirited celebration. Not only is it a fun and energetic cardiovascular workout, but it relieves stress, improves flexibility and endurance while strengthening and toning your body. You'll be reminded of your childhood- where physical play was FUN- not a "workout". Even if you never hooped, I have found that virtually ALL of my students are able to hoop given the proper hoOp and training.
