Sue studied meditation, mindfulness, mantras, and sanskrit at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai. Sue lives part of each year in India, on faculty at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, (Himalayas) Rishikesh, where she teaches yoga & mindfulness programs, under the expressed wishes and auspices of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati-ji, spiritual head of Parmarth.
Sue has been practicing yoga for 20+ years starting first with Kripalu yoga in Massachusetts. Yoga became the way to keep her core strong and flexible and mind focused to excel at kayaking. She has been teaching mindfulness on and off the river ever since. In 2014 she founded Onda Yoga and began teaching and traveling full time, through which she shares her passion for life, rivers, and coaching corporate executives in creating work-life balance through yoga. Sue also holds an MBA and teaches business classes at Penn State University summer study when she’s in the U.S.
